Who We Are

Rooted in Phuket,
Focused on Your Future

Eldernest began quietly in 2019 when a small group of education specialists noticed that many people living in Phuket — both long-term expats and Thai residents — felt uncertain about what later-life planning actually involved. The vocabulary was unfamiliar, the paperwork felt vast, and well-meaning friends gave contradictory opinions.

The founders believed the solution was not more advice — it was better understanding. They opened a small learning space on Phuket Road and began offering introductory sessions in plain English. Word spread gently through the community, and the programs grew in depth and variety.

Today Eldernest remains a deliberately small, unhurried operation. Our priority is that every participant leaves each session feeling a little steadier — not sold to, not overwhelmed, simply more informed. Everything we offer is educational in nature and does not substitute for qualified financial or legal advice.

Our Mission

What Guides Everything We Do

Warmth First

Every interaction starts with genuine care. Planning for later life touches on personal hopes and worries, and we treat each person's circumstances with quiet respect.

Plain Language

We make a real effort to keep jargon out of our sessions. If a term is unavoidable, we explain it clearly so no one feels left behind or needs to nod along while confused.

Honest Scope

We are educators, not advisers. We are upfront about what our sessions can and cannot do, and we always point participants toward appropriate professionals when personal guidance is needed.

Our Standards

How We Maintain Quality & Trust

Regular Content Reviews

All session materials are reviewed periodically to reflect current general information and best-practice guidance in later-life education.

Privacy & Discretion

Participant information is handled carefully and never shared without consent. Session discussions remain confidential within the group.

Clear Scope Disclosure

We clearly communicate that all content is educational only and is not a substitute for licensed financial, legal, or tax advice.

Experienced Facilitators

Sessions are led by educators with practical backgrounds in adult learning and community education — not sales representatives.

Participant Feedback

We collect feedback after every program and use it to improve future sessions. Participants are encouraged to share honest impressions.

Accessible Format

Materials use large, readable text. We adapt pacing to the group and are happy to provide printed alternatives when needed.

Retirement Literacy in Phuket — A Growing Conversation

Many people approaching retirement age discover that understanding pension structures, drawing-down savings, or simply organising years of paperwork feels more complicated than expected. For those living in Thailand — whether long-term residents, retirees from Europe or Australia, or Thai nationals weighing up later-life options — the landscape of information can feel fragmented.

Eldernest fills a small but meaningful gap by offering structured educational sessions in accessible English. Our work sits firmly in the educational space: we explain how pension systems generally work, what kinds of records are typically useful, how to read common planning documents, and how to form sensible questions before meeting a qualified adviser.

We believe an informed participant is a calmer, more confident one. That is the simple idea at the heart of everything Eldernest does.

Come and See What We Do
